Registered Nurse - Infusion @ Sutter Health Coast Hospital

Opportunity:

RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work day shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM start time with 5 eight-hour shifts per week
• Occasional weekend coverage as agreed upon
• Patient ratio of 3:1 during day shifts
• Provide outpatient infusion services including chemotherapy administration
• Manage approximately 20 patient visits per day treating adult patients
• No floating or call requirements
• 32 hours of orientation required
• 2 years of nursing experience required for submission
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA), ONS Chemo Therapy Immunotherapy Provider Card
• Must be chemotherapy certified with extensive oncology skills including port management, IV chemotherapy administration, and side effect monitoring
• Specialized procedures include intravesicular chemotherapy
• Work with interdisciplinary support including pharmacy and unit secretary
• Handle various cancer types and provide patient/family education and support
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation through e-learning system
