REPLACEMENT-Contract-ED RN(780)/3P-3A/13 Weeks

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Rotating weekends, no call requirements
• Must have 2.5+ years of emergency department experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Must float as needed per Methodist floating policy
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratios in 11-bed emergency department
• Perform ESI triage, splinting, STEMI and stroke processes
• Assist with chest tubes, central lines, and lumbar punctures
• Use Meditech documentation system (preferred experience)
• Follow AIDET protocols and utilize communication boards
• Self-scheduling initially with final approval by director
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket
• Maintain professional appearance standards for hair, nails, tattoos, and piercings
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills
