First Assist Technician Job in Daytona Beach, FL

You will work as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) at FH Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to expand your surgical expertise in a dynamic operating room environment.

Role & Schedule

• Position: Surgical Technician First Assist
• Shift: 3x12 hours, day shifts
• Weekly pay: $1,715.56
• Start date: September 7, 2026
• Duration: 90 days

Shift Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 call shifts per week
• One 24-hour weekend call day per month
• During 24-hour weekend shifts, an Assistant Nurse Manager supports daytime operations and a Charge Nurse covers nights—no expectation to run the board or schedule cases

Clinical Focus Areas

Strong experience is required in the following specialties:

• Orthopedics
• Neurology
• ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
• Robotics

Qualifications

• Current National Certification for Non-Licensed Professionals
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic, neurological, and ENT procedures
• Robotics experience in the operating room
