Job Details:

• Provide professional nursing care for patient comfort and well-being
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in all phases of nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Direct and supervise nursing patient care team including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians
• Collaborate with own team and other disciplines in provision of care
• Complete timely documentation of patient care, patient condition, reactions and response to treatment
• Track patient progress throughout care
• Work every other weekend and be available for holiday coverage
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required
• Cerner experience required
• Charge experience required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Michigan nursing license required
