<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Prepare the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures including proper supplies and equipment set-up<br>• Perform hemodynamic and control room duties while maintaining working knowledge of equipment<br>• Correlate analysis of invasive and noninvasive tests to recognize need for additional intervention and report findings to physicians<br>• Prepare, assist and complete tasks during cardiovascular procedures as directed and supervised by physicians<br>• Perform and monitor patient stress tests<br>• Practice radiation safety to protect both staff members and patients<br>• Transport patients as needed<br>• Complete patient catheterization reports<br>• Maintain proper sterile technique during all procedures<br>• 40 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Must hold ND Medical Imaging License from North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board<br>• Required certifications: Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS or RCES), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association<br>• Must obtain RCIS or RCES certification within two years of hire if not already certified<br>• Additional discipline requirements apply for Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Surgical Technologists</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiovascular services department with a fully equipped cardiac catheterization laboratory.
