Physical Therapist Job in Rochester, NH

You will work as a Physical Therapist on a 19-bed Acute Rehab Unit at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire. This is a travel position lasting 13 weeks, beginning July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• May include weekend shifts as part of scheduling requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

Your Role

You will provide physical therapy services as part of a comprehensive therapy service line that includes occupational therapy and speech-language pathology. You will work with a 5:1 therapy-to-patient ratio on the Acute Rehab Unit and may float to the medical surgery unit if census requires. Inpatient care experience is required, though the facility is open to training and mentorship opportunities. Advanced skills with neuro patients are preferred but not required.

Daily Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using state-of-the-art equipment
• Document all services in the Expanse system
• Participate in patient rounding and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain professional customer service standards

Team Environment

You will work alongside experienced physical therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, speech-language pathologists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and patient care technicians.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Active New Hampshire physical therapy license
• Scrubs required (no specific color requirement)
