About this role

Join Alaska Regional Hospital as a Certified Surgical Technologist on a 13-week travel assignment. You will work the night shift from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM in a modern 11-operating room setting, supporting a high-volume surgical program with an emphasis on complex orthopedic, spine, and robotic procedures.

Shift and Schedule

  • 5 x 8-hour night shifts per week (5:00 PM to 1:30 AM)
  • On-call participation required, averaging 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period
  • 1:1 patient ratio model
  • No floating between units

Clinical Focus

  • Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery cases including gynecology, colorectal, and general surgery
  • Total joint arthroplasty and multi-level spinal fusion procedures
  • Orthopedic and neurosurgical cases
  • Minimal ENT, dental, eye, and plastics cases

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA certification)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery experience
  • Demonstrated experience with spinal fusion (orthopedic or neuro)
  • Orthopedic surgical experience
  • Neuro surgical experience
