Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with hours varying based on patient volume
• Take call on evenings and weekends - 2 therapists rotate call every weekend, generally 2 weeks in a row
• Holiday call rotation required with major holidays rotated annually to ensure fairness
• Treat typical patient volume of 50 patients per day
• Work in acute care setting using state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment
• Operate Varian Edge with HyperSight and Identify system
• Utilize Varian Ethos with Vision RT technology
• Work with Siemens Go Open Pro Simulator
• Use Aria Record and Verify System for patient documentation
• Chart using EPIC electronic health record system
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T) Certificate
• ARRT licensing required
• Fingerprint requirement with 10-day remote process or in-person completion available
• Flu vaccine required by November 15 (medical exemptions allowed with documented evidence)
• Located on main campus in basement across from emergency department
• 50 mile radius rule applies with local candidates accepted at reduced rate
