Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• 4x9 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Varied days with weekends and holidays as needed
• Weeknight call required from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, typically 4-5 times in a 6-week period
• Weekend call required with one 24-hour day and one 12-hour day approximately every 7th to 8th weekend
• Holiday call required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• PALS preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• Conscious sedation experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Emergency department and/or ICU experience preferred
• Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• May be floated to other campus locations as needed
• Procedures include colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, ERCP, manometry, endoscopic ultrasound, TEE/cardioversion, bronchoscopy, bronchial ultrasound, robotic navigation, and other minor procedures
• Patient diagnoses include GI bleeding, food impaction, foreign body removal, history of polyps, screening colonoscopy, anemia, reflux, dysphagia, cancer, and atrial fibrillation
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
