Job Details:

• Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist responsible for oversight of assigned laboratory sections
• Perform specimen processing, test performance, and reporting of test results in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Work across laboratory sub-specialties including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, phlebotomy, blood bank, microbiology, and clinical microscopy
• Laboratory provides 24-hour coverage with rotational day, evening, and night shifts
• Weekend, holiday, and occasional overtime shifts required
• Initially trained to bench technologist functions before being assigned to section(s) for lead duties
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a generalist in each specialty of clinical, high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory required
• Bachelor's degree in laboratory, biological, chemical, or physical science, healthcare, or healthcare management related field required
• Current, unexpired Medical Laboratory Science, Technologist, or Specialist certification from a nationally recognized certification agency required
