About this role
You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper, WY. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026, with a 4x10 days shift schedule. Your weekly pay is $2,781.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
- Review patient history and physical with patient and family, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes
- Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
- Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and medical plan of care
- Provide direct patient care through coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
- Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
- Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
- Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to the education and orientation of personnel, patients, and families
- Actively participate in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
Requirements:
- Current, valid RN license in Wyoming
- Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in PACU
- Required certifications: WY DFS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification preferred
