Echo Technologist Job in Lancaster, OH

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking an Echo Technologist for a full-time day shift position. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026, offering $2,920 per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including stress echos, transesophageal echo, 2-D echo with M-mode, color flow, and cardiac doppler studies
• Conduct cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as EKGs, Event Monitor applications, Cardiac Monitor applications, Pulmonary Function Tests, Lower Extremity Doppler Studies, and Stress Testing
• Record procedure data accurately in patient charts and EMR systems
• Immediately inform physicians of any life-threatening test results
• Clean and disinfect cardiology equipment and accessories according to protocol
• Manage supply inventory and assist with clerical duties and patient transport as needed
• Supervise and instruct students; precept new employees
• Participate in monthly cardiovascular meetings and CQI improvement programs
• Maintain current CPR certification and perform CPR when required

What You Bring

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Vascular/Echocardiography from an accredited institution
• Current CCI or ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer credential, or registry eligibility
• Current CPR certification
• One to two years of echocardiography technician experience preferred
• Demonstrated competencies including rhythm recognition
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently
