CVOR RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12.5 hours each (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Weekly pay: $2,980.80
• 5 on-call shifts per month with varying days and hours
• Weekend on-call required; no holiday requirement

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate cardiac surgery procedures
• Maintain 1:2 patient staffing ratios
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a 32-room facility
• Float to other OR services when cardiac volume is low (General, Urology, ENT)—approximately once per week
• Use Epic charting system

Required Qualifications

• RN degree
• 3 years of nursing experience
• Cardiac surgery experience with CABGs, Aortic/Mitral Valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVADs
• PA or compact state license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Vascular and Thoracic surgery experience (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, open AAA)
• Epic charting experience
