Endoscopy RN Job in Boise, ID

Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy GI

Job Details:

• Work 9-hour day shifts Monday through Friday with start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Minimal call requirements - one night per week from end of shift to beginning of shift the next day
• 30-minute call response time required
• May be asked to participate in holiday call rotation
• Must have minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience in hospital setting
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable with sedation including administering propofol
• Float between Pre-op, Intra-op, and Post-op/PACU areas within endoscopy unit
• Handle 20-30 cases per day on average
• Work with patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Perform procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, foreign body removal, ERCPs with stent placement/removal, pancreatic biopsy, lung biopsy
• Collaborate with interventional radiology for some cases
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Scrubs provided by hospital
• 3-4 shifts orientation with preceptor
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Four shift cancellation policy per 13-week assignment
