Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday on 8-hour shifts with staggered start times as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 8:00 AM
• No holiday shifts required
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required between two locations (Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital and the North Charleston clinic)
• Daily caseload of 4 to 10 patients per technologist
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Perform and interpret pediatric echocardiograms with extensive knowledge of complex congenital heart defects
• Must be proficient with GE equipment (Vivid 95, Pioneer, Voluson) and PACS system for entering full reports
• Highly preferred experience with fetal echocardiograms
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification (FE also, if applicable) or CCI with RCCS certification required and must be in hand at time of start
• BLS certification required
• Radiation badge not required
