CT Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Southwest - UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA. You will work nights on a flexible schedule combining 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, averaging 12 hours per week over 4 days.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture technique and appropriate use of power injectors according to departmental protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assess patients for potential contraindications prior to contrast media administration
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and review patient history to apply specific departmental protocols
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, with accurate charge entry
• Communicate clear, concise instructions to patients to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate in CT (CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry date or date of hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 compliance

This assignment runs for 90 days beginning September 21, 2026. Night shifts run from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (8-hour) and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour). Apply now to join our team.
