ICU RN Job in Ottawa, KS

You will provide critical care nursing services as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at AdventHealth Ottawa. This is a full-time travel position offering hands-on experience in acute patient care and advanced clinical practice.

Position Details:

• 12-week contract beginning June 1, 2026
• 3x12 night shifts (36 hours per week)
• Work every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Weekly pay: $1,960.49

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver continuous monitoring and specialized interventions for critically ill patients
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment and monitoring systems
• Assess patient conditions and respond to acute changes in real time
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document care, medications, and patient responses according to facility protocols
• Maintain safe and sterile practice standards in the ICU environment

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Experience in critical care settings preferred
