PACU RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital, supporting patients as they recover from surgical procedures. Your role bridges the operating room and inpatient units, ensuring safe transitions and monitoring vital recovery milestones.

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients in the immediate post-operative period, including vital signs, oxygen saturation, pain levels, and neurological status
• Assess and manage post-operative pain, nausea, and other recovery concerns
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams on patient status and readiness for discharge or inpatient transfer
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses per facility standards
• Maintain a safe recovery environment and respond promptly to patient needs
• Educate patients and families on post-operative expectations and instructions

Assignment Details:

• Facility: Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona
• Schedule: 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts per week (0700–1930)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: June 26, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,332.80
