Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 12-hour shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Call responsibilities required
• Weekend coverage can be discussed with manager
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities within 20 miles
• 18 months experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT), RCIS
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Scrub procedures and maintain sterile field
• Equipment setup and room circulation
• Work with cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and interpret dysrhythmias
• Care for middle adult and older adult patient populations
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
