ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 48-hour block schedule
• No call required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required along with prior travel experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be current)
• Provide shift accountability for delivering care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
