Telemetry RN Job in Wichita, KS

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Telemetry. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in a 37-bed intermediate care unit.

Your Role:

• Provide direct telemetry nursing care with patient ratios of 1:6 for general patients and 1:4 for Heart Cath patients
• Manage equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Perform central line care, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies
• Document and communicate using the Meditech EMR system
• Work collaboratively with a night shift team of 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Meditech experience
• NIH certification
