ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Experience required in hemodynamics, CRRT, ICP, EVD, ventilator management, monitoring, proning, thoracentesis, trach, and train of 4 monitoring
• Experience with Nitric Oxide, Meditech charting, Swan-Ganz catheter, pacemakers, hemodialysis, central line setup/insertion, TPN/PPN, and chest tube required
• 14-bed ICU unit with a patient ratio of generally 2:1
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and 4 RNs; Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and 4 RNs
• Equipment used includes vents, pumps, Swans, CRRT, chest tubes, and occasionally balloon pumps and Impellas
• EMR system: Meditech
• Typical procedures performed include central line placement and intubation
• May be required to float to IMC/PCU
• Every other weekend required
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Required certifications: RN License, BLS, ACLS
