Wound Care RN Job in Silver Spring, MD

Holy Cross Hospital Silver Spring is seeking an RN with WOCN certification to join our Wound Care team. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts required. This is a 90-day travel position starting April 26, 2026.

Your Role

As a Wound Care RN, you will provide specialized nursing services to patients requiring comprehensive wound management. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct thorough wound assessments and document findings
• Implement evidence-based wound treatment protocols
• Manage wound care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as needed
• Work cross-functionally with physicians, case managers, and other clinical staff

Required Qualifications

You must hold a current RN degree and WOCN (Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing) certification. Your expertise in wound assessment, treatment protocols, and patient management will be essential in this role.

Compensation and Schedule

This position offers $2,717 per week for a full-time, 5x8 day schedule. You'll have consistent Monday-through-Friday hours while maintaining the flexibility to support occasional weekend coverage as needed.
