Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Care for patients with MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and med-surg overflow
• Manage cardiac drips (no titration required)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1
• 3 weekends required per 6-week schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Required to float when needed
• Dress code: Ceil Blue
• Provide routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in a telemetry setting
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess and address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• Temp-to-perm opportunity is a possibility
