Ultrasound Technologist Job in Philadelphia, PA

Temple Health - Women and Families Campus is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for its Fetal Center in Philadelphia, PA. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Position Details

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 days)
• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• No floating to other units
• Outpatient hospital clinic setting
• 6 sonographer exam rooms available
• Handle 8–12 cases daily

Your Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with various types of ultrasound procedures following established protocols
• Work with high-risk obstetric patients requiring advanced prenatal ultrasound and fetal monitoring
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Verify proper patient preparation and operate ultrasound equipment
• 1:1 nurse to patient ratio in outpatient setting

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved Ultrasound program
• RDMS-OB certification (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
• 2+ years of ultrasound experience, preferably with high-risk OB, MFM, or level 2 detailed anatomy ultrasounds
• BLS certification preferred

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,698

Previous travel experience is not required. This role offers a structured schedule with no on-call obligations in a specialized perinatal ultrasound environment.
