Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Float required within facility/scope of practice including Main OR and Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
• Call requirements: 12-15 days in a 6 week schedule, including minimum of 2 weekends
• Weekend coverage included in call requirements only
• Holiday requirements: work major holidays that fall during assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day)
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, TNCC
• Epic charting system experience required
• GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Must handle approximately 25 surgical cases daily in 8 operating rooms
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Skills include administration of blood products, cardiac procedures (CABG, TAVR, mitral valve replacement), cell saver operation, laser safety, and infection control
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
