Wound Care RN Job in Crescent City, CA

Join Sutter Health Coast Hospital as a Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care. You will work Monday through Friday on a 5x8 day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, seeing approximately 8–10 patients daily with one patient every 30 minutes. This role serves adult and geriatric patients in a community hospital setting.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care including direct patient skin and wound management
• Provide patient and family education and manage transitions of care
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in your assigned area
• Develop, implement, and manage interdisciplinary plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Foster and maintain collaborative relationships between patients, family, support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Previous charge experience
• Community hospital experience
• California RN license
• BLS and WCC certifications
• Epic charting system experience

Preferred Qualifications

• LTAC experience
• WOCN certification

This 91-day assignment begins October 26, 2026. You will earn $2,481 per week.
