Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• CVICU experience preferred with 2 years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratios of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage as needed
• 36 or 48 contracted hours per week with guaranteed hours
• No on-call requirements
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Black scrubs required
• Charting system: Cerner
• 72-hour orientation period
• May float to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED for admitted patients, and PACU for admitted patients
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 12-bed unit
• Handle post-op open hearts, bedside procedures, CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella procedures
• Manage patients with CABG, aortic aneurysm repairs, cardiac arrests, heart failure, and sepsis
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, Hemosphere, ultrasound, Phillips monitors, ECMO, and Arctic Sun
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• No locals within 100-mile radius accepted
• Minimum 10-week contract length required
• RTO restrictions apply with approval needed for requests over 7 days
