About this role
St. Mary's Hospital – Rhinelander is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 3x12 night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week and earn $2,428.20 weekly.
Position Overview
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient care areas, including the Emergency Department and general care units. You will manage ventilators, administer high-flow oxygen therapy, and respond to rapid response and code blue situations. Your scope includes basic respiratory care, critical care delivery, patient assessment, and treatment protocols for all age groups.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12 night shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Float assignments to Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River facilities (prescheduled when possible)
- Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum callback
- 36 hours of low census unbillable hours included
Required Qualifications
- Current RRT certification (NBRC) or CRT with RRT eligibility
- Wisconsin respiratory therapy license
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1+ years respiratory therapy experience
- Associate degree or certificate in respiratory therapy
- EPIC charting experience required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred
Equipment & Clinical Skills
You will work with Bipap V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2 heated high-flow systems, Optiflow, and Resmed S10 auto-CPAP devices. Experience or willingness to quickly learn these systems is essential.

- Any scrub colors permitted
- Mask-wearing required during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination per facility policy
- Assignment begins June 22, 2026
