Medical Lab Technician

Opportunity:

Medical Technologist - Medical Lab Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT)

Job Details:

• 13-week contract position with immediate start date availability
• 80 hours guaranteed biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Flexible scheduling available with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts during days, evenings, and nights
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float requirements to Tomahawk, Eagle River, or Howard Young facilities with pre-scheduled floating when needed
• Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum callback
• Position primarily functions as Lab Assistant with phlebotomy responsibilities
• Perform mostly phlebotomy duties with processing of urinalysis, chemistry, and kit test processing
• Must be flexible to toggle between lab assistant and MLT responsibilities as needed
• Required certifications: MLT, MT, or CLS (ASCP preferred but not required)
• Associate or bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 3+ years core lab experience with 1 year travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Any scrub color permitted
• Must live outside 50-mile radius
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
