Job Details:

• Work 5x8 mid shifts from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
• On-call required: up to 12 hours per week Monday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and 12 hours of weekend call from Friday through Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• 1 Saturday working shift every 6 weeks required
• 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per 12-week schedule
• On-call for 1 additional Saturday or Holiday per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required only when on call
• Float to L&D/OB for RO/C-sections required
• Orientation held every Monday (16 orientation hours)
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Acute hospital OR experience required
• IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required
• Basic computer skills required
• Required skills include: aseptic technique, bariatrics, biological indicators, bronchoscopes, cardiac, chemical agents for decontamination, chemical indicators, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), colonoscopes, disinfectants, EGD scopes, endoscopes, endoscopy, equipment documentation, ERCP scopes, high-level disinfection (HLD), immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), laparoscopic, manual cleaning, OB/GYN, organizing trays, orthopedics, placing instruments on trays, plastics, podiatry, proper labeling, proper selection of wrapping materials, robotics, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/trays assembly, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, sterile processing microsystem (SPM), sterilization wrapping procedures, Sterrad testing/monitoring, ultrasonic cleaner, urology, and use of washers/sterilizers
