CT Technologist Job in Abilene, TX

Hendrick Medical Center South is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology department on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift in a fast-paced acute care and emergency department environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 x 13-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM (firm schedule)
• Location: Abilene, TX
• Weekly pay: $2,721.60
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 20, 2026

Requirements

• Current Texas Medical Board MRT license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• ARRT CT certification
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT technology experience
• Adult acute care and emergency department experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel experience
• Trauma Level I and II experience
• Toshiba or Canon equipment experience
• Altera charting experience

Role Overview

You will perform CT imaging in a Level I trauma center setting. Flexibility is required as you may be asked to float to other campus locations within the Hendrick Medical Center system. The Radiology department provides interdisciplinary support and a collaborative team environment. Your expertise in adult acute care CT imaging will be essential to patient care in the emergency department and throughout the facility.
