Physical Therapist Job in Tampa, FL

BayCare HomeCare Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist for home health visits in the Tampa area. You will work on a flexible schedule, conducting a minimum of 6 skilled visits per day with adult and geriatric patients.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct skilled home health visits and self-schedule hours based on office needs
• Work with patients across multiple diagnoses including orthopedic, cardiac, post-surgical, neurological, respiratory, and mobility-related conditions
• Perform assessments, develop home exercise programs, and provide patient and family education
• Document visits using BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet systems
• Utilize adaptive devices including gait belts, walkers, lifts, sliding boards, oxygen equipment, and prosthetics
• Manage safety and injury prevention protocols

What You Need:

• Florida physical therapy license or compact license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; home health experience required
• BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for home visits
• Proficiency with assessment, cardiopulmonary/circulatory evaluation, orthopedic and neurological care, medication awareness, and billing documentation
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• OASIS training preferred

Schedule and Details:

• 5x8 days (40 hours per week)
• Expect 1–2 weekend visits per contract period
• Weekly pay: $2,462.40
• 13-week contract beginning July 27, 2026
• Dress code: solid color scrubs

BayCare HomeCare Inc. provides laptops, MiFi internet access, and portable printers to support your fieldwork. You will have autonomy in scheduling while maintaining the minimum 6 visits per day standard.
