Electrophysiology Technician Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician to join its cardiology team. You will work 4x10-hour day shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM with no weekends, call, or holidays required. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with weekly pay of $3,032.

Your Role

You will perform and assist with complex cardiac and electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants and explants, cardioversion, and structural heart interventions. Your responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating procedures while maintaining sterile technique, operating and setting up electrophysiology lab equipment including ultrasound and vascular closure systems, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias. You will perform arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, conduction studies, fluoroscopy, and EKG lead placement as needed. The facility performs over 6,000 cardiovascular procedures annually.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting experience required
• Allied Health Professional credential

Important Details

You must be available to remain on-site until the last patient is cared for. Floating between units as needed is required. Maximum pre-approved time off during the contract is 7 days. This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
