ICU RN Job in Centennial, CO

You'll work as an RN in a float pool model covering ICU and related units across a 60-mile radius around Colorado Springs, CO. This is a 91-day assignment with 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) at $2,417.76 weekly.

Role Details

• Float throughout Zone 1, rotating between 5 different hospitals in the region with no single home base facility
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–2 depending on acuity, with potential to flex to 1:3; maintain 1:1 for high-acuity patients on CRRT, IABP, Impella, and similar support
• Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
• Read and interpret your own telemetry strips (no monitor technicians available)
• 6–9 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule block; may be placed in holiday rotation
• Leadership creates schedules for 6-week periods and expects flexibility
• May float to other acuity levels including PCU/Stepdown and Med-Surg Telemetry

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years required if this is your first travel assignment)
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Active Colorado nursing license
• Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers

• The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
