NICU RN Job in Santa Rosa, CA

You will provide direct care to neonates in a Level III/IV NICU setting at Sutter Health Santa Rosa Regional Hospital. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 night shifts running 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend required. Weekly pay is $2,340.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic, individualized nursing care to neonatal patients, including assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of care
• Provide direct patient care, patient and family education, and coordinate transitions of care
• Develop, implement, and coordinate plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3 across days, nights, and weekends
• Participate in voluntary call and floating as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Level III or Level IV NICU experience
• Travel experience required
• Current California RN licensure
• BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Clinical competencies: administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, Bubble CPAP, central line care, developmental care, high-frequency ventilation, neonatal dosage calculations, UAC/UVC catheter management, ventilator management, and therapeutic hypothermia

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• High-risk delivery experience

Support Available: Interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services.
