Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Ardmore, OK

Mercy Hospital Ardmore is seeking a Physical Therapist for our outpatient therapy department. This is a travel position offering the opportunity to provide patient-centered care in a small hospital-based setting while gaining diverse clinical experience.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM), with short Friday half-days
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 1–2 Saturdays per month
• Call and float coverage as needed by facility
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: May 4, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care to orthopedic and general patients in an outpatient setting
• Manage a diverse caseload: 70% adult orthopedic diagnoses and 30% miscellaneous conditions
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (required)
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience
• Outpatient therapy experience required

What to Expect

You will work in a collaborative small hospital outpatient department where you can build strong patient relationships and refine your orthopedic and general rehabilitation skills. The facility uses EPIC for documentation, and you'll be expected to maintain professional dress code (black scrubs required).

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,482
