Opportunity:

Sonographer - Echo Sonographer

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend call rotation required from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays
• Holiday on-call rotation required
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Perform transthoracic echocardiography studies with an average of 8 studies per day (6 outpatient, 2 inpatient)
• Primary location at Jefferson Medical Center with potential travel to Berkeley Medical Center and two outpatient clinic sites
• Utilize Philips echo machine and EPIC charting system along with PACS
• Cardiologist reader of the day available for support
• Start IVs when able, with assistance available as needed
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac sonographer experience required
• Wear light blue scrubs (scrubs provided)
• Acute care setting
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), and either Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
