Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Acute Care</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 36 hours per week plus on-call responsibilities<br>• On-call rotation includes 6-8 days per month with 1 hour response time requirement<br>• Must include 1 Friday, 1 Saturday, and 1 Sunday in call rotation<br>• Two full weekends of call and one weekday per week<br>• No regular weekends or holidays except when on call<br>• Shift start times vary between 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM depending on assigned role<br>• Pre-op Endo shifts start at 6:30 AM<br>• Circulator/Tech Endo shifts start at 7:00 AM<br>• Post-op Endo shifts start at 7:30 AM<br>• Provide specialized endoscopy nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations<br>• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning, and direct patient care<br>• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans<br>• Provide patient and family education for post-discharge self-care<br>• Administer medications and perform clinical interventions<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS<br>• NYS RN licensure required<br>• One year of endoscopy environment experience as a Registered Nurse required<br>• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens anticipated</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on endoscopy procedures and acute care.
