Registered Nurse - ICU @ Cabell Huntington Hospital

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with 3x12 hour rotating days/nights schedule
• Self-scheduling available
• Rotation schedule varies - could be a month of each shift, 2 weeks of each, or occasional one week swaps (never within the same week)
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Past critical care experience required
• Cerner charting system experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Float to like units as needed
• 3 weekend shifts required per contract
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 20-bed ICU with daily census of 20
• Must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation and annually (average 4-6 hours)
• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
• Travel pairs not accepted for this specialty
