CVOR Technologist Job in Portsmouth, NH

Join Portsmouth Regional Hospital as a Certified Surgical Technologist specializing in cardiovascular and orthopedic operating room support. This 91-day travel assignment runs from October 12, 2026, with a 4x10 day schedule (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) and weekly pay of $2,183.

Your Role

You will scrub and circulate in a 7-OR surgical services department, assisting with procedures across orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, gynecology, plastics, neurosurgery, robotics, podiatry, and dental cases. You'll maintain sterile fields, prepare instruments, and respond to surgeon needs in a fast-paced environment. No floating to other departments is required—your focus remains in the OR.

Key Requirements

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist license
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based surgical experience
• General competency across multiple surgical specialties

Preferred Experience

Background in orthopedics, total joint replacement, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, or robotic-assisted procedures is valued.

Facility Details

Portsmouth Regional Hospital operates with Meditech EMR. Hospital-supplied scrubs are provided. The assignment includes variable scheduling with rotating weekends and on-call requirements. Working holidays are part of the schedule.
