Sterile Processing Technician Job in North Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health – Consolidated Services Center in North Charleston, SC. This is a night shift role suited for seasoned professionals with proven sterile processing expertise.

Assignment Details

• 3x12 night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with holiday rotation
• 91-day duration; start date July 20, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,192.32
• Guaranteed hours policy: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Parking pass available for nights and weekends (one-time $20 fee)

Role Responsibilities

You will perform sterile processing tasks including sterilization wrapping, high-level disinfection (HLD), immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), scope and probe reprocessing, sets and tray assembly, and equipment documentation. Floating within scope is required to meet facility needs. You may float to sister facilities and could be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus as operational needs change.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• Level I Trauma experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Demonstrated expertise in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap
• Current CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
• Proficiency with biological and chemical indicators, washers, sterilizers, and associated equipment

Preferred Experience

Case experience in Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN is preferred. You will serve patient populations across Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics.
