ICU Registered Nurse Job in Reno, Nevada

Renown South Meadows Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its 8-bed Medical ICU. You will work a 3x12 night shift schedule (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) with 36 weekly guaranteed hours and no on-call requirements.

Your Role:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers
• Work alongside one Critical Care Technician per shift and a rotating group of intensivists available 24/7
• Serve as ICU Charge RN and Rapid Response RN as assigned
• May float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level

Requirements:

• Current Nevada RN license (required before start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Travel experience preferred

Schedule Details:

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve + Day counts as 1 holiday)
• May be required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period
