RN-Operating Room - Pediatrics

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Pediatrics OR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Trauma Level 1 experience and Pediatrics OR experience mandated<br>• Must have scrubbing experience<br>• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards<br>• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting<br>• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems, including population-appropriate physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects of care<br>• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan<br>• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs<br>• Participate in patient assessment and develop care plans<br>• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members<br>• Assess readiness to learn of patients/families/caregivers<br>• One year of nursing experience required<br>• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required (BSN or MSN preferred)<br>• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina<br>• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)<br>• Must be able to read, write, and speak English</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization is a major academic medical center that provides comprehensive healthcare services with advanced trauma capabilities.
