RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Care for cardiac surgery patients post-operatively, including those recovering from CABG, valve surgery, and heart transplant procedures
• Provide nursing care for post-operative lung surgery patients, including those who have undergone wedge resection, lobectomy, or double lung transplant
• Care for additional patient populations including esophagectomies, bronchial valves, EP lab, Cath lab, and general cardiology patients
• Support patients through recovery process to prepare them for discharge
• Work in a stepdown unit environment requiring strong cardiac and surgical nursing knowledge
