OR RN Job in Sun City, AZ

Banner Boswell Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Operating Room. You will provide comprehensive nursing care for surgical patients across all ages in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients undergoing surgery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and revise patient care plans
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members appropriately
• Provide direct patient care, coordination of services, and ensure continuity of care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in medical records accurately and timely
• Participate in patient and family education, mentoring, and orientation of new staff

Assignment Details

• Primary campus: Banner Boswell Medical Center (10401 W Thunderbird Blvd)
• Float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed
• Shift: 4x10 Days
• Duration: 89 days
• Start date: June 22, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,718

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact state licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required, with experience in specialty area within past 12 months
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend frequently, and respond quickly to patient needs
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
