RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

• Provide treatment based on established plan of care for patients with wounds, fistulas, percutaneous tubes, ostomies, incontinence, and actual or potential skin breakdown
• Serve as a resource and consultant to patients and nursing staff
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care provided
• Collaborate with WOCN to implement changes in the plan of care
• Treat acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow, and other conditions
• Support adjunctive therapies including vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine
• Minimum 6 months of wound care experience required with preference for outpatient wound care clinic experience
• Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• BSN preferred
• Related certification in Wound Care preferred
