Pharmacy Technician Job in Waukesha, WI

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract role. You will work 40 guaranteed hours per week on day or PM shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation required. No on-call or callback duties.

Shift Options:

• Day shifts: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• PM shifts: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

You will primarily work within a central pharmacy with potential travel around the facility for cart delivery. Float assignments between Waukesha, Oconomowoc, Mukwonago, and Pewaukee campuses are required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Compound medications, including oncology preparations
• Process and verify prescriptions using Epic charting system
• Operate automated dispensing systems, including Omnicell
• Prepare and deliver IV medications
• Support pharmacy operations across multiple locations

Required Qualifications:

• Wisconsin State Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB certification (must be obtained within 30 days of start if not already held)
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Oncology compounding experience
• Epic charting experience
• Familiarity with automated dispensing systems
• IV preparation experience
• AHA BLS certification
• High School Diploma

Position Details:
