Physical Therapist Job in Rockville, MD

AHC Rockville Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation services. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Tuesday through Saturday, days shift (5×8 hours)
• Patient ratios: 1:5 on weekdays, 1:3 on weekends
• Quarterly weekend coverage with a corresponding weekday off
• Weekly pay: $2,160
• No floating between units; no on-call responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities

You will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in acute care and rehabilitation settings. Your work will include gait training, strength testing, discharge planning, and treatment for spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and amputee care. You will also manage patients with orthopedic rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery needs.

Requirements

• Valid state physical therapy license at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience (required for first-time travelers)
• Two supervisor references required
• 24-hour orientation period upon start

Facility Policies

• Strict no-tobacco facility with nicotine drug screening; positive results will result in assignment cancellation
• Complete required modules through Relias/Net Learning portal during orientation and annually
