Sterile Processing Technician Job in Helena, MT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 90-day travel assignment at St. Peter's Health in Helena, Montana. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment while earning competitive compensation.

Position Overview

You will work 8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with variable weekend call responsibilities. You may float between the endoscopy and sterile processing departments as operational needs require. This position provides hands-on experience in instrument preparation, sterilization, and processing within a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols
• Maintain sterile field integrity and follow decontamination procedures
• Float to endoscopy and sterile processing departments as assigned
• Operate and manage EMR systems, including Epic and Censitrac
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• CRCST certification (must be on profile at time of application)
• Proficiency with EMR systems Epic and Censitrac
• Residency within a 200-mile radius of Helena
• Ability to complete a two-step interview process
